When it comes to washing horse rugs and other equestrian tack there are a number of ways to approach this.

If you are intending to wash and re-proof larger winter rugs then 13kg (130litre) is the smallest machine that can be considered, or take a look at the Tolon TWE18 as a great value large 18kg capacity machine which is perfect horse rug washing including New Zealand/Turnout waterproof rugs with neck piece.

Another important consideration is the availability of sufficient power, firstly because commercial machines over 10kg load capacity typically need a 3 phase power supply and secondly it is not common to have a hot water supply in stables and tack rooms.

New to our range of machines is the LG Titan-C 15kg washing machine, this has a large 147 litre drum, connects to a 20amp 230v power supply, it can be pre-programmed for rug specific washing alongside conventional loads. This machine is a great entry level machine for private stable use.
